Next Wednesday February 18th. 7th and 8th grade will have a Science Fair display at Lone Star from 2 to 3:45pm. All are welcome to come view your students hard work.

This tour travels to Scotland and England and is for current grades 7-12.

Good morning JH basketball parents. I am sorry a message didn't get out yesterday. But this is the plan for our day. JH basketball will travel to Weldon Valley today. Games will start at 3:30 p.m. with JHG-B, JHB-A, then JHG-A. The bus will leave Lone Star at 1:30 p.m.

Our FFA chapter is committed to community service! We have three options for service planned for Monday, February 9th. We hope that each FFA member will sign up for one of these three options, although nothing is mandatory.
Option 1: Harmony Home Assisted Living facility in Yuma. Looking for 6 students to work with the residents from 10-11:30 am. Transportation provided from the school if needed.
Option 2: Environment Clean-up at Prewitt Reservoir. Leaving school at 9 am. Transportation provided, leaving from the school.
Option 3: Food Bank of the Rockies food delivery in Yuma. Looking for around 6 students, meeting in Yuma at 8 am.

Please sign up by Thursday, Feb. 5th at the end of the day.

ATTENTION!!!!!!! Schedule change for today's games against Caliche. There will be NO JV boys game held. Games will start at 5:00 p.m. with varsity girls followed by varsity boys. This means that the HS basketball bus will now leave Lone Star at 3:15 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.

Good morning JH basketball parents! The brackets for tomorrow have been completed. I have attached the link to the brackets plus a flier for the concessions available. All games will be played at Wray High School. CHSAA and CHSCA passes will be honored other than the passes it will be $4 for 60yrs+ and $5 for everyone else. The bus for Lone Star athletes will leave Lone Star School at 8:00 a.m. with a brief pick-up in Yuma at 8:20 a.m. If there are any questions feel free to contact Peggy Fisher. Thank you!

Here is what I know right now: The tourney will be held at Wray High School, games will start at 9:00 a.m., there will be two brackets, a double elimination bracket for "A" teams and a round robin bracket for "B" teams, and we will have two courts running at the same time. The league is waiting to fill in the brackets until after the conclusion of tonight's league matchups. We will release the brackets first thing tomorrow morning. If you have any further questions, please reach out to Peggy Fisher and she will answer as best as possible. Thank you again!

Good afternoon Lone Star. Tomorrow, 1/29/26, the JH basketball teams will be hosting the Otis Bulldogs. There is a slight change in the schedule. There will be NO JH Boys B-team game. This is the order games will be played: JH Girls B-team, JH Girls A-team, JH Boys A-team. Also, tomorrow will be JH parents' night!! Make sure to come on out and support our athletes and their parents.
