Parent Reminder: K-2 Field trip to Museum in Denver will not return before the end school. Parents will need to pick up students at school at 4:30pm.
State track schedule- option C Everything will start at 2:10pm today. Liv jumps at 6:30 and Wyatt throws at 7:30
From CHSAA: The track and field state championships will resume today, Saturday, according to Plan C, which is to resume competition at 2:10 p.m. at Jefferson County Stadium in Lakewood.
Athletes will be allowed to enter 1:10 p.m. Spectators will be allowed to enter at 2 p.m. This timing will allow the Jeffco Stadium staff and officials to prepare the venue for spectators while athletes are warming up.

All track parents and fans and athletes! We are still waiting for the 7 am decision for the state meet! Thank you for your continued patience! We will communicate the decision as soon as we hear! PS. North side of Denver has blue skies but Lakewood is receiving snow. Forecast shows it to be moving out soon!
ATTENTION: just a heads up that CHSAA has decided to postpone todays meet. We have no further information at this time and will update when we do.

Lone Star Year books are now up for sale. to order a book, Make a payment to Lone Star School by Friday May 27th. Books will arrive at the start of the school year next year.

ENROLLMENT PACKETS GO HOME TODAY! Yes it is that time of year. Your child (one of them) will bring home a packet with enrollment papers in them. As a returning student you will look over the information we have on the demographic sheet and correct anything that needs it. Please return the following:
1. Enrollment papers
2. Handbook/Internet forms
3. Field trip Form
4. Free and reduced application - Everyone PLEASE fill this out even if you think you might not qualify as we do not know if the school will receive school wide free lunches next year.
5. Student driver/Armed forces form (11th-12th) for students that it applies to.
6. Dental Screening - optional

REMINDER: HS track practice at 10:30 am today. 11:30 am pole vault practice.
HS Track will be leaving the school at 5:45 am tomorrow. The bus will stop in Yuma around 6:15 and Otis around 6:30 am. Good luck to all of our athletes.
REMINDER: JH and HS Track pictures are tomorrow. Junior high is also turning in jerseys tomorrow.
From Lone Star School: Tonight we will be having the All year sports awards this evening. It will begin at 6:30 PM (it is not a food banquet) (sports included: football, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and track)
The 7th grade is hosting a "Fun Festival" on Friday from 4-6 pm for any students who want to attend - each game is 50 cents.
HS Senior Graduation is Sunday May 15th at 10 AM.
JH and HS track pictures will be this Friday the 13th. This will also be JH jersey return day.
REMINDER: HS track in Akron tomorrow. Bus leaves the school at 9:45 am.
The junior high track bus will be at the school in 15 minutes. Please have a ride there for your athlete.
Lonestar junior high track bus will be in Otis in 10 minutes please plan accordingly!
